Areas of focus
Therapy tailored to the whole person
Whether you’re trying to understand emotional patterns, strengthen relationships, set healthier boundaries, navigate a big life transition, or improve lifestyle habits, therapy can offer a space to better understand yourself and turn toward change.
Who I support
I specialize in working with growth-oriented adults who are often successful in various parts of life but privately feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. You may be performing well at work but struggling in relationships. You might be navigating a breakup, relocation, career shift, or another major life transition. When people know that the way they are living no longer feels fulfilling, my practice might be right for them.
How I Offer Support
People come to therapy for many different reasons. While every person's experience is unique, these are some of the areas I most commonly help clients navigate:
-
Sometimes life changes suddenly; sometimes change is gradual or across many parts of life at once. If you’re navigating a career change, parenthood, divorce, relocation, grief, or other significant changes, therapy can offer support, be a place to process emotions, and help you develop skills to feel more grounded during uncertain times.
-
When stress becomes constant or anxiety begins interfering with daily life, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from the parts of life that bring us joy. Therapy can help us develop practical tools while exploring the deeper patterns that may be contributing to your experience, so you can work toward turning insight into positive change.
-
Healthy relationships begin with openness and curiosity about ourselves. Therapy can offer a space to explore recurring patterns, strengthen communication skills, learn how to manage conflict with kindness, and build more connected relationships.
-
Therapy isn't only for times of hardship. Oftentimes we simply want to better understand ourselves, live with greater intention, break longstanding patterns, or create a life that feels more aligned with our values. If this resonates with you, therapy can provide guidance and support on your personal growth journey.
-
Depression can affect many aspects of life, from motivation and energy to relationships and self-worth. In therapy, you may strive to reconnect with the parts of life you used to enjoy, better understand the patterns that can contribute to low mood, and develop alternative strategies to help you start showing up how you want to in life.
What you can expect
The therapEutic process
Consultation
A brief informational phone consultation offers a time for me to learn more about your needs, for you to ask questions, and to see if we may be a good therapeutic fit working together. If it seems like we are, we can schedule our first appointment. Otherwise, I will do my best to provide you with a referral to someone who could be better suited for your needs.
1 /Getting Started
During the first few sessions we are starting to build our therapeutic relationship, aiming for a strong foundation of trust, safety, and honesty upon which positive change can occur. These initial sessions are also focused on gathering information about your past, current concerns, relationships, lifestyle, desired areas for change, and more.
2 /Moving Toward Change
From there, the intention is to collaboratively develop therapeutic goals based on your values and desired changes. Evidence-based interventions are drawn upon to develop an individualized plan. With a shared commitment to your goals, we can aim to overcome challenges and turn new insights into actionable steps toward positive change.
3 /Embracing Growth
At the end of therapy, people often feel healthier and proud of their efforts and achievements. My hope is for you to leave therapy with confidence, self-understanding, and practical tools to continue building a life that feels authentic, balanced, and aligned with your values.
